This privacy notice tells you about the information we collect from you when you purchase one or more of our products via our website or in store. In collecting this information, we are acting as a data controller and, by law, we are required to provide you with information about us, about why and how we use your data, and about the rights you have over your data.

What personal data do we collect?
When you purchase products from us either online or instore, we ask you for your name, address, contact telephone number, email address (online sales only) and payment method/details.
For shotgun/firearm sales and purchases and cartridge/ammunition sales (in store only), you will need to show your current shotgun/firearms certificate/licence.
Why do we collect this information
For online orders, we use this information to fulfil our contract with you eg to process your payment, deliver your goods and communicate the status of your order.
For shotgun/firearm sale or purchase and cartridge/ammunition sales (in store only), we use your certificate/licence to validate your identify, the entitlement granted by the police and that it is still current.
We will not release any personal details to any third party, unless required to do so by law. For all shotgun/firearm sales and purchases, we have a statutory obligation to notify the relevant police authorities of all such transactions and we do this via Guntrader software.
What do we do with your information?
Your information is stored in our order processing system which is based with the European Union.
Your credit card details, depending on which company you use are passed to a third-party payment processor. We use two payment gateways of which is one is based in the USA and is certified to the EU-US Privacy Shield (which requires effective safeguards for your information) this being PAYPAL. The other gateway is protected under EU law and based in the UK, Citrus Lime Payments we as a business do not retain your credit card information and as such these companies become Controllers.
We use various third party couriers to deliver your goods and share with them your name, address, telephone number and e mail address in order to complete your delivery where applicable.
We do not use the information you provide to make any automated decisions that might affect you.
How long do we keep your information for?
As a customer, we will retain your data for the minimum amount of time required to meet our legal and obligatory requirements.
Your rights over your information
By law, you can ask us what information we hold about you, and you can ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate.
You can also ask us to give you a copy of the information and to stop using your information for a period of time, if you believe we are not doing so lawfully.
